Terms of Service

Terms governing use of the RustLift website, pilot inquiries, and pre-release product evaluation materials.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RustLift website at rustlift.com and related marketing, evaluation, and pilot-inquiry materials operated by Zobel Solutions LLC("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the website, contacting us about RustLift, or reviewing pre-release RustLift materials, you agree to these Terms.

Separate agreements control pilots and deployments: Commercial pilots, confidential evaluations, enterprise deployments, professional services, support, procurement terms, data-processing terms, security terms, and software licenses should be governed by a separate written agreement. If a separate agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement controls for that engagement.

2. Use of the Website

The website is provided for informational purposes so you can learn about RustLift, request pricing, discuss migration pilots, and contact our team. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the website or any other user.

You may not attempt to disrupt, scan, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass security controls, or misuse the website. You may not submit malicious content, unlawful material, or material you are not authorized to provide.

3. Pilot Inquiries and Communications

If you contact us, request pricing, request a pilot, or provide information about your organization or technical environment, you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.

Do not send confidential source code, regulated data, security secrets, export-controlled material, or proprietary repositories through ordinary website or email communications unless a separate written agreement and approved transfer method are in place. See our Privacy Policy for more information about how we handle inquiry data.

4. RustLift Product Status

RustLift is pre-release migration infrastructure. Public website descriptions, roadmap items, demos, CLI examples, screenshots, reports, pricing discussions, and feature descriptions are informational and may change without notice.

RustLift is not a one-shot transpiler and does not guarantee that arbitrary C or C++ can be automatically translated safely. The intended workflow is incremental migration, explicit verification gates, bounded context, generated drafts, compile/test evidence, unsafe tracking, and human engineering review.

Engineering review required: Generated Rust, migration drafts, unsafe explanations, context bundles, reports, recommendations, and verification outputs should be treated as engineering artifacts that require review before production use.

5. Source Code, Customer Materials, and Ownership

As between you and RustLift, you retain ownership of your source code, repositories, build files, logs, test data, and technical materials that you provide for evaluation or pilot purposes ("Customer Materials").

You grant us the limited right to use Customer Materials you voluntarily provide only as needed to respond to your inquiry, scope a pilot, provide agreed services, evaluate RustLift, improve relevant product workflows, or fulfill a separate written agreement.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide any Customer Materials. Do not provide third-party code, confidential information, regulated data, or restricted technical information unless you are authorized to do so and appropriate agreement terms are in place.

6. AI, Model Providers, and Generated Output

RustLift is designed as a migration control plane around customer-approved AI infrastructure, such as approved coding assistants, enterprise model gateways, cloud model providers, or local models. The model is an adapter; the verification workflow is the product.

AI-generated output can be incomplete, incorrect, insecure, non-compiling, license-sensitive, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and approving any generated output before using it in production.

Any real model-provider integration, data boundary, prompt logging, retention setting, endpoint selection, or no-code-leaves-boundary requirement should be documented in the relevant deployment plan or separate written agreement.

7. Intellectual Property

The website and RustLift materials, including text, logos, graphics, product names, screenshots, examples, designs, code, documentation, and other content, are owned by Zobel Solutions LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, create derivative works from, or reverse engineer RustLift materials except as expressly permitted by us in writing, by an applicable open-source license, or by a separate written agreement.

8. Feedback

If you provide ideas, suggestions, bug reports, feature requests, product feedback, or other recommendations, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. We are not required to treat feedback as confidential unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may reference or link to third-party services, including GitHub, Vercel, model providers, cloud providers, customer-approved AI gateways, documentation, or other tools. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, security, privacy practices, availability, or terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website, RustLift materials, pre-release features, examples, demos, reports, recommendations, and evaluation materials are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security, uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zobel Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, code, business interruption, or security incidents arising out of or related to the website, RustLift materials, pilot discussions, or pre-release evaluation materials, regardless of legal theory.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zobel Solutions LLC from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, or submission of materials you are not authorized to provide.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, New York, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
