Privacy Policy

How RustLift handles marketing site inquiries, pilot communications, analytics, and source-code boundaries.

Last updated: May 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the RustLift website at rustlift.com, product evaluation communications, and pilot inquiries operated by Zobel Solutions LLC("we," "us," or "our").

RustLift is positioned as local and on-prem migration infrastructure for C/C++ to Rust modernization. This website is a marketing and inquiry site, not a hosted source-code migration service.

Source-code boundary: Do not submit confidential source code, export-controlled material, regulated data, security secrets, or proprietary repositories through this website or ordinary email unless a separate written agreement and approved transfer method are in place.

Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, request pricing, request a pilot, or discuss a RustLift evaluation. This may include:

  • Your name, email address, company, and role
  • General product interest and migration goals
  • High-level technical context such as language mix, build system, test maturity, CI environment, approved AI provider, and deployment requirements
  • Scheduling, procurement, or pilot-scoping information you choose to provide
  • Ordinary email metadata and communications when you contact us

We may also receive basic website analytics and hosting logs, such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, device type, browser, IP address, and timestamps.

Source Code and Technical Materials

RustLift is designed so customer code can remain inside the customer boundary. The intended enterprise posture is local, CI, on-prem, or customer-approved model-gateway operation.

No public upload workflow

This marketing site does not provide a source-code upload form or hosted migration workspace.

No ad targeting

We do not sell personal information or use site visitors for third-party advertising profiles.

Local-first product direction

RustLift is designed around local, CI, on-prem, and customer-approved model-gateway deployments.

Bounded context

Future model integrations are intended to send only scoped migration context to approved endpoints.

If you voluntarily provide code samples, logs, build output, reports, repository metadata, or other technical material during a pilot discussion, we use that material only to evaluate, scope, support, or improve the requested RustLift engagement. Production pilots, confidential evaluations, and enterprise deployments should be governed by a separate written agreement.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and pilot requests
  • Schedule calls, demos, and technical evaluations
  • Scope migration pilots and enterprise deployment needs
  • Operate, secure, debug, and improve the website
  • Prepare proposals, procurement materials, and agreements
  • Comply with legal, security, and business obligations
No selling personal information: We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information for third-party advertising.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate RustLift, respond to you, or meet legal and business obligations. For example:

  • Email and productivity providers used to receive and respond to inquiries
  • Website hosting, analytics, and security providers
  • Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, security, or procurement advisors
  • Government, law enforcement, or third parties if required by law or necessary to protect rights, security, or safety

If a pilot or enterprise engagement uses a customer-approved model endpoint, cloud provider, or AI gateway, the applicable data flow should be documented in the relevant agreement, architecture, or deployment plan.

Analytics and Cookies

The website may use privacy-focused analytics, including Vercel Analytics, to understand traffic and site performance. These tools help us understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the site.

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party ad pixels on the RustLift marketing website.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled through the website and business communications. The site is served over HTTPS and includes security headers configured in the application.

No website, email system, or internet transmission is completely secure. Sensitive technical materials should be exchanged only through approved channels and under an appropriate agreement.

Data Retention

We retain inquiry, pilot, and business communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, manage the relationship, support product development, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain ordinary business records. You may request deletion of personal information using the contact information below, subject to legal, security, and business record requirements.

Children's Privacy

The RustLift website and product are intended for business and professional engineering audiences. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You may also ask us not to contact you for marketing or sales follow-up.

To make a request, contact us at info@rustlift.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes may also be communicated through reasonable additional notice.
